Club Penguin's Safer Internet Day on February 11, 6-9:00 pm

The international theme for Safer Internet Day 2014 is ‘let’s create a better internet together’.  To support this initiative, Disney Club Penguin is hosting an open house with keynote addresses by experts from leading online safety organizations. 
Experts will discuss what their organizations are doing to promote internet safety.  They will also provide tips and resources for educational professionals and parents to take back to their schools and families.
Who: Open to educational professionals and parents from the Kelowna Community.
Where: Disney Club Penguin Studio, 500-1628 Dickson Avenue (Landmark IV). 
When: Tuesday, February 11th 6:00 - 9:00 pm.  
Featuring keynote speeches by subject matter experts from:
  • The Kids Help Phone
  • Netsmartz
  • The Canadian Center for Child Protection
  • The Canadian Police Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Keynote presentations including open Q&A from 6pm – 8pm.  Immediately following, invitees are welcome to join guest speakers and Disney presenters for refreshments and further discussion.
